Is there any use in rope climbing?
Could it potentially replace anything, and how would one measure reps and such with a rope?

if you don't use your kegs it could potentially replace chin-ups, would keep doing pull-ups though.
climb up the rop as fast as you can, then come down slow using only forearms. do that a few times depending on strength

>using only forearms
Madman!

you'd be surprised. weaklings using their feet the entire way down

How do you only use your forearms. That is anatomically retarded. Do you just rotate your wrists all the way to the bottom. Do you think when you post? You mean hand under hand because that uses your entire arm.

completely go limp at the top of the rope, then only flex the forearm muscles to lower yourself the way down dude. fuckin idit
It could be a decent alternative to chin ups, especially weighted. Though I find hand over hand pulling to be more back taxing than rope climbing.

well the forearm muscles control your wrists and fingers. so by flexing your forearms you're gripping the rope. i just don't even.

But how do I grip with my forearms?
