Meal timing question. Yesterday I worked out but forgot to drink a protein shake. I don't think I got very much protein. I woke up at 4AM, drank a protein shake, then went back to sleep until 8AM. Did I lose all my gains? Thanks for your time. Pic unrelated.

Joking aside I suggest you use mufitnesspal.com to track macros, so that this will not happen again.
Fine-tuning timing only gives a marginal boost to gains. The bulk is just the result of net intake.
It's still worth trying to time intake to get that little boost, but missing it for a day is absolutely negligible. It wouldn't even be too much to worry about if practical concerns made "proper" timing day-to-day impossible.
