I've been following world events closely for 6 years now, and anyone who has any grasp on the current geopolitical situation understands that some kind of conflict is on the horizon. History shows that humans are creatures of war, and that peace doesn't seem to last (and the longer we live in peace, the more likely conflict becomes because the people forget the horrors of war and are willing to fight over the pettiest of differences). Maybe we can achieve lasting peace next time around the cycle of we don't blow ourselves to shit this time.

honestly if you really wanted to prepare for some apocalyptic type of scenario you would want to do more cardio than lift, more than likely you will need to be on the move a lot and the quicker you are the more likely you will be to survive.
