Good 3 or 4 day split for a beginner? I've tried searching around and everyone just memes on everyone's programs. What's a genuinely good program I could stick to? 3 day would be ideal but a lot of what I'm seeing is 4 day.

I don't see anywhere the sticky has a good 3 or 4 day workout routine
If you've been lifting for less than 6 months do a full body 3 days a week
If not then you could do push/pull/x/push/pull/x/x and then when you're more advanced and need more recovery a push/pull/legs split
If you don't like that you could do chest/back and bis/shoulders and legs but again that's probably for when you're more advanced
If anything with a split just stick to 1 exercise (bench/OHP/squat/deadlift) for each specific day each week you do and aim to do 3 or 5 sets of that really heavy to get your strength up, add weight whenever you can and then do some assistance work afterwards once you've put your work in for muh aesthetics or whatever your'e after

Ignore the memers. If you want to look good, do this with emphasis on 5x5 compound lifts.
My friend who hasn't done anything active since middle school has been following the program I set from him and his bench went from 85lbs to 135 in two months while he's lost 10lbs.
But 4 days a week is minimal shit for a split. I consider it a bad week if I only make 5 days.
