Siracha or Hot Sauces are pretty good depending on your taste. I put Franks Red Hot Buffalo Sauce on chicken and eggs all the time. Best part is almost all hot sauces are 0 cals, just double check though.

I don't have time for a big meal between the first job and the second, where I struggle with the food. I've been thinking my mid-shifts stop at the bar for double vodka shot and gin and soda (formerly beer and whiskey) make me too buzzed and I go in and immediately give in to temptation. Also, I'm sort of putting together a list of food to buy this weekend and I've run into a bit of a problem.

According to the wiki, I should be getting about 200g of protein a day. However reaching that number seems pretty damn difficult. I'm at like 1100 calories today and am only at around 50g of protein. If I take protein powder I know I'll have to go over 1750 calories. How do I balance this shit out? Are protein packed foods just naturally calorie dense or something?

Usually at the gym at least 4x-5x a week plus cardio (biking est. 10-100 miles per week)

Start a workout with an hour of running/jogging/walking on the treadmill

Then an hour to two hours max lifting. Im doing a split PPL style.

It's a pretty simple workout but yields results when paired along with a good diet and staying generally active throughout the day. Find what works for you

I see a big lot of you are running, my advice is that as summer is approaching many of you may go overboard with the cardio part of your plan.

Don't do this, or at the very least mix in swimming and/or biking, other stuff like ellipticals and escalators might work too provided you can keep a steady rythm for at least 25min.

Running is very hard on the joints and the chance of injuring yourself increases noticeably with more weight.

For the record, I lost ~80 pounds and got to ~1/2/2.5/3 on the big four lifts in 6 months before I left for boot camp. But between acting like a frat boy in A school and being overworked to fuck since I got to my first command I've fallen off the wagon hard thanks to my new love of alcohol. I'm here mainly for self motivation, but my lessons learned can certainly help others.

i've been fucking terrible at getting to the gym. i had been doing stronglifts since november and lost a good 10 pounds doing it. but i quit going to the gym a week before new years and haven't been back. It's hard since I'm seeing a chick now, i'm not sure how to balance going to the gym and trying not to fuck things up with her.

I eat healthily, have done for about five years. I cook my own meals from scratch, low fat with high protein where I can. I workout five times a week, I lift and I'm quite active. I have takeaway maybe once every few months. I log everything I eat.

My friend is the same height as me and eats literally nothing but takeaway. She has it for lunch and dinner almost every day and drinks rum and coke all weekend. She's about 100lbs and the same height as me but I'm overweight. She doesn't exercise at all and has always been tiny. She has no ED.

I'm not being butt hurt about it because we have different body types (probably down to weight difference) but it annoys me that she can eat shit and stay skinny yet I have to work my ass off to lose anything.

Why does alcohol have to have so many calories? I pretty much drink an extra main meal almost every day. I never eat more than 1200-1500 calories a day, but the 400 or so calories of booze on top of that just from two cans of lager when I get from home work to unwind is stopping me from losing anything. Then on the weekends it's usually a little more than that when out with friends. Over a week it's probably 3000+ calories.

I'm a shill cuck and I use S health, since my phone bitching at me when I would walk a certain number of steps really helped motivate me over the summer.

MyFitnessPal is the standard choice for most people. The only thing I get out of S health is integration with my watch for workouts.

So not sure if the guy who helped me is here or not now but i ve been doing these exercises for 5 days now, was really sore when i woke up after the first 2-3 days, now i dont feel it much.

I do these exercises in this order, i ve added the number of reps i can do in 2 sets, sometimes if i overdo it i cant do the 2nd set fully so i try to stop around when it gets too hard but not impossible.

Is it good that i have put exercises alternate between leg and arms? Usually helps with not taking a big break inbetween certain exercises

Usually take a 30-60sec break between each exercises/set unless it is arm/leg alternation which i usually change to that fast.

About the diet, is it ok if i eat a big meal(1000-1500 calories) around miday and then mostly eat cucumbers/small salad or the occasional small fruit like kiwi? I cant really get into the small meals diet, it is so unsatisfying and i end up getting hungry more often.
Dont usually eat anything around morning when i do the exercises, only eat that big meal around midday so around 2-3 hours after the exercise

Keto is great if you can cut your bread to 40g< a day. But eating bread effectively stalls you and takes a few days before the body starts burning off the fat again. This means that every time you go 50g+ you could be looking at 3-5 days to start burning fat again.
