How do you get yourself into the right mindset, /fit/?
Squats have gone from my favorite to my least favorite lift, because I've lost confidence. I'm terrified every time I go for a new PR. I'll spend several minutes psyching myself up, only to lose it on my last rep. Music isn't doing it for me any more.
What pumps you up, /fit/?
nothing really pumps me up, i just feel guilty if i skip workouts
Should I just be the one guy at the gym that uses nose tork?
>tfw you have a dialogue with yourself in the mirror before gym and you end up contemplating existance

Pretty much this for me. I havent felt pumped to workout in about 6 months. But I know I'll feel shitty if I dont workout, and its so routine now that I dont really need to get pumped. Just like any other maintenance or chore, just gotta do it.
I do feel breddy gud afterwards though.

Do more isolations
Go over form again
If you don't feel a crazy pump by the end you didn't go hard enough
Once you feel it you'll want it every time
Lifting is the only thing I'm slightly proficient at

This + drop sets, get a pump that feels like the muscles make your skin tear

Sorry, I get a pump after my workout. Which is why I said I feel good afterwards. Just don't get "pumped" before hand because I'm in a dull place in life. Which is what I thought the op was addressing specifically.
Anyway, thanks for the advice. Couldn't hurt to change things up.
