My car is covered in tree crap and bird poop because every morning I go to the gym I have to park under a tree.

I have been going for 4 weeks straight and don't want to clean it off because I feel like it's a badge reminding me to keep going without missing a workout.

Good morning. Gonna continue to grab 2017 by the pussy. Been absolutely crushing it this year. Down 11lbs and 4% body fat in the last 6 weeks. Been saving lots of money. Today is just another day.

Pulled it from bad form and now I need to stop lifting for at least a week to let it heal. Can't even do heavy curls without making it hurt and linger all day. Anyone have any suggestions aside from Advil and rest?

I work night shift so I lift around 8am and go to bed. I'll be there brah but I'm just on a different level.

Here's my suggestion. Don't do anything that will aggravate the injury.

I presume you are young. Take all the time off you need and it will go away on its own. When you start again, majorly deload, get your form perfect and work your way back up properly.

During the time you aren't lifting, do some mobility exercises to keep inflammation. Not just stretching but look up some proper physical therapy techniques. Don't work it hard, but keep it limber.

You will feel really good after letting it heal and working your way back than if you go spartan mode, don't rest and hurt yourself for real. Also getting injured can be a blessing if you are just starting. Getting to high weight with shit form is just asking for danger.

Thanks. I don't know how I developed the poor form, because the weight I used when I injured it wasn't a new set weight. I think I got lazy and that's what happened as a result. I've been doing cardio instead during my resting time and plan on looking up some stretches and massages to help it along.
