What's a good dumbbell weight for someone who has been lifting for 1 month? I'm using 15 and 18 pounds dumbbells and they seem kinda lightweight, but i'm not sure is dumbbell even supposed to be heavy?

i use these currently and they are pretty decent
max weight is like 52.5 per dumbell
saves space and pretty sturdy
not as big or as cumbersome for as other dumbbells
great for beginners

I already have dumbbell where i can put 55 pounds, but i don't know much i should put

Depends on the exercise. 30 lbs would be pretty good for 1 month if you're curling, whereas press I'd think you better start eating mr skeltal

only 15 lbs? are you grill? is this for bench? even a dyel skele should handle 45-55 lb DBs no problem
>>

i bought adjustable ones that go up to 15 kg and i still use them after a year. dbs are used for volume anyway
>>
>>40464154
depends what your overall fitness is like before you started lifting desu, use the heaviest weight you can do a full set with basically

Cute post. So new you didn't say what lift you meant. It is incredibly varied, benching or rowing can be a lot of weight. Curling or lateral raises a little

It should be as heavy as you want it. If you were doing 3x8 for example, make it so the first set is a little hard and the last set pretty challenging but doable. Experiment to find that weight and then work from there
