I've never noticed it before and I've been going on 20+km Mt hikes all summer. But the fresh air could be diluting the smell I guess.

Not sure about you, but my old gym was in the same building as a swimming pool, so chlorine and moisture was always in the air, every time I got home, my clothes reeked as if I swam in the pool for an hour. Masked the sweat stench pretty good, though.
