I've watched maybe 100s of hours of youtube videos, I've realized I never user any of their little tips and tricks, there's no hidden secrets, there's nothing your missing, pick a routine, track your progress, push yourself, people are jacked without watching any videos. It's strictly entertainment.

No. Just no. You can be doing all kinds of retard exercises (like squats or benches on the smith machine) and creating muscle imbalances and pain that lasts for years. I still have tendonitis 2 years after no lifting for doing stupid shit in the gym. You should study some videos before lifting, and not from assfucks full of roids.

I'm not saying it's full proof. I'm saying youtube isn't the place to look, there's so much content on there it will just confuse you if your not an expert

These tbqh.
Watch some instructional form videos when you start out (maybe from a few sources, I liked Elliot because he gave reasonable advice and promoted being very aware of everything you're doing with a lift) but once you are a few months in ignore them like the plague. Nothing will slow you down more than constantly obsessing if you are doing the right thing according to <insert youtuber here> and there's so much contradictory advice that you are better off figuring out what works for you.
