some of my favorite toppings are beans, onions, mushrooms, olives, pickles, baby corn, artichoke hearts, shredded carrots, and peas
avoid mayonnaise based dressings like ranch, use some light oil or vinaigrettes instead

my personal favorite salad is black beans, red onion, baby spinach, and cubed monterey jack with red wine vinaigrette. it's fucking delicious and like 700kcals for a gigantic bowl that lasts for days.

A normal tortilla has about 150-200 cals. Specialty flavor wraps maybe 250 at the very highest. Two slices of bread can be anywhere from 220 minimum to like 500. Even worse if you eat a disgusting sub sandwich where you get a whole loaf.

Plus wraps typically have more veggies than a standard sandwich and a low cal meat like chicken or tuna.

The most typical response would be to just man up and push through it. Otherwise do a half fast or break it with very small snacks instead of a full meal and then continue on. I know this isnt as good as making it through the whole fast but sometimes it takes practice and time to develop the stamina for it, especially for people who may be used to eating big meals and snacking a lot.
50% of something is still a hell of a lot more than zero, dont get discouraged and accept the zero just because you cant do it all the way.

It's all depending on your body. The idea of IF is that your body had a storage already built for energy, and throughout the day having your body depend on the energy instead of constantly eating is healthier and produces better results

I can go into detail with ketones and whatnot. But the basic premise is after a certain time period your body adjusts to its new schedule and learns to not release insulin (insulin when there's no carbs in causes the dizzy feeling), and instead relies on on fat.

IF- over time I got used to it. Body needs some time to adapt to the schedule - it has been getting food around certain time all its life, needs to learn new schedule. ECA stack if I'm on PSMF which is about 800 cal/day.

I went on a 6-7 day fast. Days 2-5 I felt great, didn't feel weak or anything, just very light, fresh and mobile. At the end I felt less explosive energy.

Where I'm from they spend maybe one quarter of a year teaching us about food overall. We are also too young to have any control over our diet at that point so it's pretty much useless.

I didn't learn shit about nutrition until college, the cooking classes I took in high school were more about just how to make any food, good and bad, rather than proper meal prep. The health classes focus more on drugs and how you'll instantly die if you even see drugs.

I'm from northern VA/DC suburbs btw. Can't imagine how much worse it is in more obese places desu
