>There are a lot of good things about this gym. They supposedly cater to "real" people, both fatties and people who just want to go to the gym in a baggy t-shirt and not waste time chugging muscle milk while grunting and flexing in a mirror.

>Gyms for fatties like me are incredibly intimidating, and honestly, this gym wasn't that much different. This place is still intimidating. But there were subtle little messages of support, like on the treadmills there are stickers that say "you belong" and stuff. Which kind of helps. Sort of.

There is also tanning here, which... I refuse to tan at the gym, so whatever. I think this place is a little cramped, and I can never find a place to stretch. You're still supposed to stretch before you workout, right? I'm not sure since I haven't worked out since high school gym class.

I hung it in my closet next to all the other clothes that don't fit and are the reason I joined a gym.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT BY STAFF, NUMEROUS TIMES.

"That's just how guys are" says the MANAGER

I have been sexually harassed by the "vacuum guy" who has made comments about "how flexible I am" and "how do you get your leg that high!?" (Stretching cage) And feels the need to talk to me every time after.

The personal trainer has hit on me even after telling him I'm married. Final straw was when he stood on an empty treadmill right next to mine and wouldn't stop trying to get my attention. I pretended not to hear him over my headphones. He got so frustrated he walked around to the front of my treadmill and HIT the display screen twice with his hand to force me to look at him. WHILE I WAS RUNNING

MANAGER'S EXCUSE IS "THATS HOW GUYS ARE AT THE GYM" (your employees?!) The manager dared me to report him for his sexist excuse allowing this behavior from his employees SO I DID.

DO NOT PUT UP WITH IT. JUST BECSUSE YOU'RE NICE DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE ASKING FOR SEXUAL HARASSMENT.

Update: this case was reviewed by the PF lawer and district manager. The lawyer reviewed the +VIDEO+ of the employee that hit my treadmill and stood next to me for way too long while I ignored him. The lawyer called me and discussed his absolute disgust with the whole situation. Thank god for the video tape, now they're both being forced to attend sensitivity classes and are 'written up.' But look, if you were a man and they came up to YOU and said "hey you're a punk, hey you're weak you're an idiot" you think they'd still have a job? I think not

Ya, I have a membership at one. They have giant jars of candy at the front desk. Also every Monday night they hand out pizza.
