Any point lifting when you're skinny fat and trying to lose weight (eating calorie deficient) or is it needless self torture that's better spent on cardio?
I wanna lose fat, then gain muscle. I really only have a gut some some unimpressive moobs. 5'10, 70kg. Can I do both at once since it's so little or no point?
I've been doing weight training for 2 months and basically got no gains because im a retard and didn't do any research and was eating fuck all while trying to lose weight.
Just lift. If you're skinny fat you'll be fine just strictly lifting.

Lean & muscular > Toned > Bearmode > Average > Chubby > Skinny > Roided > Fat > Skinnyfat > Obese
Just bulk while working out and you'll hit average. Skinnyfat is disgusting. Get out of that mode asap.
Every human on this planet should be able to at least lift their own body weight with ease and also run 7 miles without stopping. A healthy body makes a healthy mind.

Actually that kind of answers my question. I've been thinking roughly in short term since i'm over 30 but maybe I'll just do the lot and not worry as much about results, only progress.
