My narrow grip bench press is more than my regular bench press. What does this mean?
You're a newbie and should probably go narrower with your regular bench press grip.
Disproportionately strong Triceps, go wider to work your actual chest, then do isolations for your tri's after.

You haven't figured out proper form to activate your chest and you're only working your triceps.
>>40405257
lmao it's literally impossible to do any variation of bench without activating your chest.
>>40405281
Not at all true. You can rely almost entirely on tris if your form is wrong. If your shoulders are up/foreward your chest isn't getting hit for shit.
>>40405226
You don't know how to bench.
>>40405312
You can't eliminate the chest from any horizontal press. You can only shift the emphasis to other muscles.

KEK
>yfw you just posted a how-to get into shoulder injury

Improper form bench can be done so poorly that any chest hit will be so minimal as to not matter.

What? If your shoulders aren't down and blades packed, your form isn't right
You're either A: doing reg bench wrong
or B: have anthopometry that's very good for CGBP.
My money is on A, watch some form videos, I'd recommend anything by Mark Bell.
These posters are fucking retarded the narrower the grip the longer the rom, and what does that mean?? Also not destroying shoulders with wide grip
>>40405226
your triceps are stronger than your chest is
usually guys with very long arms have close grip benches that are fairly lose to their regular benches, do you fall into that category?
