noob with a question, got confused by the sticky.
am i supposed to be eating enough to make up for the calories expended after working out?
i am ~134 lbs, which is about 2400 cal a day for bulking. let's say i burn 200 today doing cardio. do i eat 200 cal extra to make up for this?
Yep

more of her
What's your height? If you're 5'10 or more, eat like 2600-3000 calories a day, and as to your question: yes.

I may be wrong, but 2400 sounds unreasonable for a bulk, I think you'll be making very slow. How much cals is that above your TDEE? 100? 200? Try to go for at least 400, so I'd say try 2600cals on your gym days.

i simply used the (body weight * 18) figure in the sticky, but i just went back and used scooby's calculator and it looks like i should be doing ~2700, so you're right. thanks a lot mate. been wondering why weight gain was so slow.

Even for losing weight? Or should you aim for 1800 - 2000 if you are 5'11 for weight loss?
if you did a TDEE calculator that asks how often and intense your workouts are and general activity level those calories burned are taken into account so do not adjust
