Started using this shit one week ago. Haven't changed my routine but I've gained five pounds of what I think is fat. WTF? I do weights 2x a week, cardio 3. Anyone else use whey protein and gain weight?

You might be unintentionally consuming an unbalanced amount of protein. Protein is absorbed best if you follow a 3:1 ratio with carbohydrates meaning you ingest 3 grams of carbohydrates for every gram of protein. If one scoop is 30g of protein it is best to have at least 90g carbs with that or have less of a scoop and less carbs while spreading protein and carb consumption throughout the day.

Three. One for breakfast, one for lunch and then one at night. I usually have a heavy dinner. Just got the whey powder because I wanted to lose another 15lbs. I'm currently at 180lbs at 5'10". I've been taking two full scoops of whey with 1% milk in the morning and one at night. Maybe I'm gaining more lean muscle mass but it feels like regular fat to me.

How much sodium are you consuming? Excess sodium can lead to more water retention and thus increase your weight even if it's arbitrarily. Plus, if you gained 5 pounds of fat, you would have had to consume 17500 calories more than you're supposed to over that one week.
