okay /fit/

as you can see i am extremely skinnyfat and i really want to get in shape

ideally i would like a slim but toned body. right now i really need to slim down my love handles and thighs, everything else is pretty much okay before actually building muscle mass

what would you guys recommend for my build? im looking at the sticky website but since i am a complete newcomer i wanted an idea of what would be best

Pick a starter program, eat 500 above your TDEE (google tdee calculator)

FUCKING STICK TO THE PROGRAM YOU PICK. CONSISTENCY IN BOTH DIET AND EXERCISE BEATS ALL.

Come back in a 8 months to a year and pick an intermediate program provided:

A) your noob-gains phase has slowed down (if you pick a starting program this means you are facing deload weeks on a somewhat frequent basis

b) You've actually seen significant strength gains

people meme about picking a program you like, but for someone as pin as you, you wont benefit from PPL yet.

SS is a meme imo, I don't lift so I can have huge legs and functional strength, I lift so I can look good naked.

Las point: fucking eat. Like really, don't just eat 500+ 5 days a week and give up the other two. Weight gain comes from consistently eating above your TDEE, just as cheat days harm weight loss, cheat days of not eating your 500+ will harm your gains.

This anon has it. Also don't ever say the word 'toned' in reference to fitness ever again, its a meme. Your not gonna pickup a barbell and explode into roided bodybuilder mode, shit takes time and dedication. Don't get hung up on what routine your doing, you just need to eat and lift. The gains will come
