Guys, is yoga useful for posture and general health?
Pic slightly unrelated because I don't believe that's the yoga pose, but you get the idea.
I'm a skinnyfat who's planning to do barbell strength meme training but also integrating with yoga (my GF likes it) and bodyweight.

Yoga is incredible for your entire body. Why do you even have to ask this? Idk wtf that guy in the pic is doing though.

yes, yoga is good for your entire body, especially core strength.
The breathing practices and meditation that some classes do is also great for you
i lift 4 days a week and try to do yoga 4 days a week as well
Yoga is a useful tool for what your goals are.
So is lifting, calisthenics, martial arts, cardio, etc... They are tools to get you where you want to be.
Where do you want to be? Yoga lets you heal faster, realigns your posture, and makes you more flexible, why wouldn't it be useful
You'll make it anon

I'm just a stressed out European manlet who's been inactive for most part of his life and I want to be a better, stronger version than myself.

Still op here. Do you think I can start just by watching videos and buying some recommended books from reddit wiki or something, or an actual class is really more beneficial?

you can probably learn how to do it through videos and book and reddit but i go to a yoga studio for my classes.
Theres different classes and different teachers so no session is the same which helps keep it interesting.
Maybe take some classes and once you feel confident do it on your own?
its nice to have someone experienced to point out form issues.
