>tfw lifting for almost a month
>tfw went from 100lb bench press to 180lbs bench press
>tfw went from 70lb ohp to 120lbs ohp
Is this good progress /fit/? My goal is to hit a 2 45 plate bench before March and at this rate I think I can do it
Yeah kid, it's pretty good.
Height, weight and age?
If true that OHP increase is impressive, how many reps you doing on bench and OHP with that weight now? 225 is certainly a possibility but my ego doesn't want you to succeed.
Nonetheless, good stuff anon!

Thanks man and that's a max I can do 1.5 to 2 reps of before running out of strength

Also I'm 5'10" 170lbs and 27 years old

>only 80 lbs in a month

I'm new to lifting and I also found out I wasn't getting near enough protein each day, I was getting 50g max a day
>>40284132
Its still 80lbs more than if he sat at home and continued to do fuck all for that month. Progress is progress.

Your bench is gonna take a while to get to 2 plates. At least 3 months
>>40283951
>tfw lifting for 8 months
>tfw went from 50 kg bench to 62.5
>35kg ohp to 45kg
is it time to kill myself?
>>40284233
Not everyone can make gains that quick, it took me a year to bench 2plate and diddy 4plate now i can bench almost 3plate and diddy just under 6plate after 3 years.
>>40284233
Your genes aren't meant for lifting. Stick to long distance running or cycling
>>40284233
Check your protein intake. I didn't bother counting macros for a year and wasted so much time.
>>40283951
>Be a plate
>Start off with sets of lower body
>Easily max my one rep at over the top
>Why does everyone else make this look hard?
These stats threads make me want to just go to gym everyday and accelerate the progress
>>40284163
I got 500 lbs in my first 2 days
DYEL?
I add 2kg (about 5 lbs) to every exercise per week. I have been lifting for 1 month now

100-180 in a month is damn good OP, keep it up
it took me a whole lot longer than a month to get 180 but i was starting as a 6'3" skeleton 15 year old
