You could have a cheat day every day as long as you're calories are still withing range.
Example: 5 mcdoubles are 2000 calories, which is a good amount to cut with for most people. Just make that all you eat in a day.

Using the mcdouble example, each one has ~25g protons, so such a diet would still work (although I wouldn't suggest a tally doing it - more that someone could if they wanted to).
I've lost 20lbs in my cut so far, and every Sunday I crush a large pizza and protein shake as my entire food for the day.

Have a cheat day once a week (think accidental binge) and then the day after simply aim to hit your minimums: protein, fats and micros, but a much lower intake than normal. Is this okay in terms of damage control? I'm working on killing the habit completely...

Tell you what OP, if you really can't last a whole week before your cheat MEAL, just have one cheat MEAL every 4 days and cut at a deficit of 1000 calories a day, rather than the usual 500. The increase in caloric deficit will more than offset your cheat meals.
