How do you guys break plateaus? My bench has been stuck at 155 for 5 since August of last year. I can usually get 5 reps on my first set then only 4 reps on my second set.
why this terrible image that ruins Katya keep getting posted

are you gaining a pound of bodyweight a week?

Nope I've been cutting for the last several months. I try to eat between 1800-2k calories a day. I'm barely maintaining strength, I'm not sure how to increase my bench. My bodyweight has stayed about the same since I started the cut.
DB press is the cheerleader for your BB press, make sure you pause and squeeze at the top of the rep (just like 1 Mississippi in your head and release). Also make sure you're doing enough tri work and don't neglect incline/decline/wide/close.
Bump

there is so much wrong with what you said
if you've been cutting, why is your bodyweight staying the same? that's not cutting, that's maintaining
secondly, your bench will almost certainly not increase on a cut, and might not even increase at maintenance - bench has a reputation for being sensitive to calorie intake for good reason

neglect the fuck out of decline but the rest of this i'd agree with, do more accessory pressing volume
Here's the real secret to breaking it. Go back down to 145, go for 8 reps once you consistently hit 8 reps for at least 3 sets ( pref 5) go back up to 155 and go for the same 5x5.
