I suffer from depression and like most mental issues there are good and bad days. Today is a very bad day. It's also back day which is usually the hardest workout I do. Normally I do 10 sets of very heavy barbell rows, then 5 sets of pullups and 3 sets of deadlifts.
All of these require a ton of mental energy to do heavy, and I just dont have it in me to push myself today. Could /fit/ give me some ideas?
Do I leave it for tomorrow or do I do a light weight workout just so I don't skip it?

Get your ass in the gym first THEN figure out whether or not you're able to lift. That's what I do when i'm depressed and I have bipolar.
go to the gym and attempt your usual workout, leave or do a lighter one if you cant handle it
I train at home. My barbells are in the living room. Im literally staring at them.
I woke up today feeling like shit, quite literally.
Super tired, nauseous, dizzy as fuck ate breakfast but it hasn't gotten better.
Wat do lads, should I rest today? I don't feel well tbqh but I stilp want to lift.
I'm motivated but I don't want to hurt myself.
Also been having trouble going to sleep/falling asleep so that might be it.
Im working shitty job and I know when I'm done with it I'm going to really kill it in the gym. What I recommend bro is never asscociate lifting with depression, sad thoughts. So if you don't feel like going in today at the gym don't go. Don't burn yourself out and make going to the gym torture.

I am jelly as fuck anon. I just invested into those adjustable bowflex dumbbells. Its not as bad since I cant do heavy legs/back because of fucked up knee from childhood, but barbell still feels so much better.
