What is this exersice called? Pic from The accountant movie. I heard that it makes your limbs stronger or something like that, is it true? Any anon here has experience with it?

It's to help strengthen the bone for people who do sports that have a lot of kicking. Don't know if the way he does it is ok though, I've only seen people start off kicking fairly soft stuff and moving up to harder things as the bone heals. Also don't do it everyday.

I knew a guy in my school who did this and he was able to get smacked in his SHINS at full kick and it wouldnt hurt him
Shin conditioning. We used to do this in our muay thai class. It creates micro fractures in our shins and bone heals stronger. Pretty useful in combat sports imo. You also kill the nerves in the area, so you get a stronger bone and don't feel pain when kicking. Otherwise clashing shins, checking low kicks etc. hurts a lot.
