SRS question for my /fit/bros who play sports. I've been doing SL and thus lifting heavy since September and it's like I'm in a constant state of DOMS. The gainz have been amazing so I'm not complaining. With spring coming up tho and baseball camp in April, I don't think I could really perform well while always recovering from heavy lifts.
I guess what I'm asking is: do you guys lift during a sports season? Should I change program?

Why would anyone here not do sports? Back in high school I did it to stay and shape and be with my friends. I'm doing intramural at university rn for extra exercise.

But definitely lift during sports season. If it bothers you too much maybe switch to bro split, or something. If I were you I'd just power through it, and drink more water. It gets easier. It would be retarded to stop lifting.

Your form is fucked, nigga. You should've stopped getting actual DOMS months ago, even with lifting heavy
Dont look at lifting as how strong am i getting. Look at is as how fucked up can i get my body and recover from it.
Lifting is basically teaching your body to endure more. Soon youll be able to wake up day to day and just not be sore. But when you get to that point there will be other problems you face which are managing fatigue.
Its a fun journey. Keep notes in how your body reacts to stuff. After what are you more hungry, after what do you lose apetite.

If you're still getting doms you're doing something wrong or you're not using your full body more than once a week.
Besides, doing sports would decrease Doms
