both

Mostly for the sort of physique that a natty, or even someone on babby's first cycle, could see maximum gains on. 6 months is not a very long time, so I'd rather, natty or not, get in the maximum results. Piana himself has said multiple times that a natty needs to do full body 3-4 days a week. A full body routine of isolations would bore the every living fuck out of me. Again, given that I only have 6 months in this scenario, I want the most bang for my buck.

It depends on where I am right now.
But for me—a natty with no chance of winning and who just doesn't want to embarrass himself—I guess I'd go with compounds. I'd just avoid overdieting and try to come in as big as possible and at least look thick. Or at least, thicker than the natty shitheads who overdiet while doing meme isolation exercises. Why people do this separation between the exercises...?
