I'm only active for an hour at the gym, but other than that i sit home and play video games for the rest of the day
Does /fit/ have any ideas on how to be active for multiple hours?

Why do you need to be active for more than an hour? Just make sure your posture isn't garbage the rest of the time and regularly stretch. And of course, make sure you're not one of those retards who doesn't do cardio and conditioning along with strength training.
(Not that it isn't good to be more active. You should if you can but it isn't going to impair you if you don't.)

At the moment I do two cardio workouts (cross trainer 20/12 and rower 5/1000m) and five lifting workouts (10kg each hand curl+press, trybow, 20kg goblet squat, 40kg endurance bench press and 30kg bag backward lunge on each leg) am I doing it all wrong to lose weight?

Sports are an easy one. There's probably a rec league or something in your area.

Find an active hobby. Hiking, sports, larping, going for long walking meditations, yoga, calisthenics, build and use a workout park carpentry, gardening, cars.
The energy spent from NEAT or just heavy thought accounts for more calories and positive physical changes then the hour in a gym.
Play physically active games
Get a standing desk
Get a portable paddling bike
Fidget.
