Try a meal prep day. Make a week's worth of food in a few hours on the weekend. Portion it out and freeze or put it in the fridge.
I did it once and it was a really easy way to track my calories as well as make sure I'm not getting fast food on impulse. Might start it again soon.

use Scooby's meal planner and shop according to that. It's the easiest thing you can fucking do.

if you're cooking for yourself, I've found you really only need to make about 3 dinners per week, and just have your lunch and breakfast stuff planned out. Cereal, oatmeal, eggs, bacon, bread, lunch meat, stuff like that.
