>be me
>decide to do Greyskull LP
>first time working out
>bench 130 lbs (2x5, 1x8)
>squat 110 (3x5), even had to do last rep with pretty shit form
Is this normal? Shouldn't my legs be stronger than my chest? How many of you had the same problem? Also I'd like to know if I should be lifting more as a beginner, I really don't think I could but 130lbs doesn't feel like a lot, seems like this whole board can bench 300+.

Since it's your first time form could have played a large role
I would argue that since the squat is more technically demanding you might have been held back by that
Don't worry about weight, focus on form and volume. On your first month, do all 4 compounds every day to train your form.
This is your foundation for a beginner program.

my first day i could leg press 300 kg for 3x12 yet i could only squat 70
Early on squat is not limited by quads, but by glutes and spinal erectors, which you probably have never really worked before. Squat improves very fast, more so than other compound lifts
Also your bench is unusally high for a beginner. Did you used to be in a martial art or millitary where you did lots of pushups or something?

Like with just the bar?

Not really, but I'm pretty happy to hear that. I thought it was much lower than average.
