Are wide hips strictly genetic or are they result of being fat during puberty? It seems like a lot of skinnyfat people have wide hips. I'm pretty sure I'm screwed because my parents made me fat as a kid

I think it can be a result of that. I'm not blaming my parents but we were really poor when I was growing up. We had shit like baloney caked in mayonnaise for dinner and never really got the right nutrition. My dad wasn't fat when he was growing up and he doesn't have wide hips like I do. Fuck I know that feel. I have wideass hips and it's not because of any form of fat, It's just the skin straight on my bones. It was well hidden back when I was a fatty but now that I lost that extra weight, I'm just self-conscious about my big ass and wide hips. Kill me famalam
