Hi /fit. Thinking of switching my routine to a 6 day program. My question - is 6 days in the gym a week utterly pointless as a natty? Anyone here see good results from going 5/6 days?

I go 5 days a week and see good progress, been lifting seriously for about 2 years.
Bench went from 225x1 over summer to 225x5 on Monday. Squat is pathetic but going up pretty fast. And aesthetically I'm seeing a lot of progress.

Forgot to mention, did 6 days over summer and 5 since September. 5 seemed better but it could have just been the program and easier to get to the gym so less days missed.

What's your routine, bro? I'm thinking about switching to coolcicada's PPL but adding more volume. 3x5 is not enough for me.
pros
>you can apread volume out over more days
>squats, bench are great in high frequency
>of programmed correctly can enable you to some point
cons
>over use injuries
>you really cant go over 75% without risking point 1 at a higher rate
>recovery will be changed
>stalling will probably happen very quickly

PHAT with a little change for things I like to do.
OP here. This is the routine I'm thinking of (inb4 reddit).

Good or meme?
did PPL for a year and a half before switching to canditos program
pros
>great hypertrophy
>tons of volume
>get to lift a lot
cons
>injured like every 2 months
>too much gym time, need off days
>got to strength gains suck

Why'd you get injured so often? I did ppl for a long time but also would occasionally only do 3-4 day weeks/easy weeks. Did you do that or just non-stop 6 days.

almkst always 6 days

id constantly get little injuries on small. muscles in my back and stuff

This is my favorite program I have run so far.
Good combination of a strength focus with high volume.

Are you natty? I've read PHAT and PHUL aren't suited to nattys because of the volume.

PHUL volume isn't that high. Can't speak for PHAT as I've never ran it

Not the guy you were replying to, but I'm doing coolcicada's PPL, 6 days a week, showed great results thus far.

Thanks for the response. Do you think I would sacrifice results if I switched his barbell benches to dumbbell benches?
