I've noticed a huge increase in the "I'm better than you" types of replies when it comes to doing "real" fitness versus lifting.
Like I'll tell someone to lift, and they'll smugly say nah I do rock climbing, or play basketball or go jogging.
How are these even remotely the same?
Normies consider lifters to be insecure and compensating for some personal flaw.
It's literally just envy and insecurity. I had a guy try to make me feel bad for working out by saying stuff like "I don't have the patience, just sitting there picking stuff up for an hour, it's so boring. Don't know how you can do it." He was fat.
Normal people lift in order to get better at a real sport
>"With XYZ activity you actually gain functional strength!"
>"You know muscle you gain from just lifting weights will turn to fat once you stop?"
>"This actually trains your whole body"

>adults
>playing sports
>normal
Literally more autistic than just lifting on it's own unless you're a professional.

Keep telling yourself that

Don't take people as seriously as they think you should. Just be condescending and make them feel validated.
I do both BJJ and lifting.
Gotta say that having muscles that I can effectively use makes me feel much better than just having big and flashy muscles. I've never had to fight anyone, but it still is a confidence booster.

Have you not noticed how the lifters on this board are also always complaining about being lonely incels? Might have something to do with why people would rather play a game of basketball or go climbing with their friends than pick things up and put them down in a basement.
If you don't think good basketball players and climbers are fit, you're delusional.
