Besides all the racist shit idiots are gonna say. More and more processed shit is being allowed in schools. It's easy to prepare (take it out of the bag, add water, bake on 350 for 30mins) and preserve and hella cheap compared to fresh foods.

Home economics courses are no longer a requirement in schools so kids don't learn how to cook shit that won't kill them. They eventually take those bad habits home. Parents are usually too tied up to cook home cooked meals so they resort to processed shit cause once again it's cheap and easy to make.

The USA let's the FDA approve everything that will pretty much kill you but slowly. There are over 3000 added ingredients in American processed foods and not enough research about Thier long term consumption effects.


Company's will literally pay doctor's millions to say that certain shit is safe in moderation....But will never publish long term effects reports....


It's a culmination of things OP.....But such is life in the greatest nation in the world.
