What is a good routine for someone who just wants to be big and strong?
My lifts are around 1/2/3/4 for 1 or two reps.
Ideally I want to go to the gym 4 times a week.
I was thinking of doing an upper/lower. OHP and bench on upper days and then squats and deadlifts on lower.
5/3/1
do boring but big if you feel like it

5/3/1 but instead of doing shitty BBB, do triumvirate or periodization bible or something
Direct application of prilipins chart, 4 week pendulum wave with varying assistance exercises.

Do 531 but instead of that do the powerlifting version, 351 with jokers and fsl
>>40132458
jokers and FSL should be done on any version of 5/3/1, i sure hope nobody in 2017 would consider running the original with literally one working set per exercise per week

Add a second overhead press day, but instead of doing presses from the rack, do a power clean, pause, and strict press the weight for sets of 3. This will increase your overhead press and deadlift.
>recommending 5/3/1 to an early intermediate
You guys must be fucking trolling.
Do Texas method OP
>>40132369
look into PHUL or PHAT

power cleans only increase your deadlift if your deadlift is utterly pathetic
Do you think it's ok to use a 531 template but not the 531 progression for main lifts
