probably because that's not typical SS progress, OP

most people don't get near 230 3x5 on bench on SS, too little volume, but you appear to be gifted at benching (your deadlift isn't too great, on the other hand - probably have short limbs)

I ended up LPing right up to a 500lb deadlift using the SS model of 1x5 once a week, but my bench never got past 205 or so for a 1rm

symmetric strength is a meme based on nothing pal, 270 bench and 330 squat are not at all symmetrical unless you're going to a powerlifting meet for paraplegics

SS did this to me in 3 months:
75 >> 275 Squat 3x5
135 >> 340 Dead 1x5
55 >> 135 Press 3x5
80 >> 190 Bench 3x5
45 >> 135 Power Clean 5x3

This was my rationale too. If I had done a "lean and clean" bulk, it would have taken a year to reach these numbers, and I would still look like a twig. By doing SS you get strong fast, and then you can decide whether you want to lean out, keep going for strength, sport specific, etc.
