recovering skelly here just started lifting about a month ago I have a few concerns, one my chest is really uneven and seems like one pec is quite smaller than the other, especially towards the middle chest, it kind of just dips inwards. I know that will be fixed by lifting. But its like the insertions are so weird I fear my chest will never look good. will it fully fill out over time?

second I think I have mild scoliosis from sitting down awkwardly for years.

Right now i'm doing PPLPP and trying to eat as much as I can.

Lucked out on genetics is the understatement of the century. Your obliques are still puffy but that's probably from just not lifting very much for lower back/sides. They'll taper with time spent lifting diddlies/those side things people are suggesting now. Everything else is pretty amazing senpai, great ab inserts too. Unlike a lot of people they actually span a good length from under your pecs to the bottom of your Adonis. Might just be the pose but scrunching your core isn't doing it justice I'm sure, it makes your upper ab look to small and the side by side profile of them look zigzagged. Stand up straight when you take a pic. What stats and what's your legs look like?

Tried 5x5 got to repping 180 bench, 185 squat, 265 deadlift, and 155 row but HATED how 5x5 made me feel mentally. Strained the fuck out of my CNS and overall it was really hard to keep up volume with such high intensities so I deloaded and do 3x6-10 on compounds, and 3x8-12 on accessories and plan on just doing that for life.

Np. I recognize good and bad features in people when I see them and have no problems explaining why they're good/bad. and you have a lot of good ones. If you wanted to go full on ripped body builder mode you'd exhibit it extremely well.

By stats I meant more height/weight. That's more telling of where you are/where you're going and what your potential is.

In terms of lifting I'd say work on bench more, and incline bench to get the definition on your upper chest popping out and a bit more developed, along with heavier and heavier back (both upper and lower.) and oblique work until your v taper comes in perfectly. Besides general lean mass gain you're on the road to doing extremely well and could probably have a competitive tier body if you wanted. If you give me height/weight numbers I can tell you what to aim for as far as lifts go.

competing men's physique might be difficult at 5"11' since you're literally right above the height cap which is 5"7' to 5"10' so you'd be competing with guys 5"10'+ and able to pack on more symmetrical mass than you. That's unfortunate, but fitness model could be a sure thing. Shame you're not an inch shorter lol.

At 162 I'd be aiming for at least a 225x5 bench, probably up to as much as 245x5 and around 185x5 incline bench, maybe a bit more. That might sound intimidating, but constant work at heavy weight and reps and it'll get easier every single week with some dedication to it. Hit chest hard once every 3-4 days to the point you get DOMS every single day you work out. If it isn't sore and hurting for 1-2 days you didn't do it right.

Add in some dumbbell work, try to get up to 70-80 lb dumbbell incline presses, and do some cables if you aren't already, thumb down.

Include a routine that blasts the rest of your body equally, hit your lats, obliques, and delts/traps/arms until you hit probably closer to 175-180 lbs as lean or leaner than you are now and you'll look fucking fantastic from a physical standpoint.

I wish I had someone like you to coach, you're literally on easy mode right now and with proper physique training and diet you could literally be something supremely special, I'm not even trying to suck your dick with compliments or anything, I just want you to understand how much potential you have for being young, new to weightlifting, and seeing that kind of insertions/progress. Don't waste it. If you have even a slight interest in body building, naturally or enhanced, I highly recommend you go for it. I'd really like to see more photos of your posing, like bicep inserts/calves. Hope you stick around, great physique desu. One of the best I've seen in a long time here.

It depends on your goals

The most important part though is to stay consistent and do a decent bro split or ppl 6 days a week with a clear strength progression plan until you plateau, then just keep lifting on the regular until you can smash your previous best. If you need a routine or help making one I'll give you mine in a pic w/lifts to aim for. I'm 5"8' 148 and made the last couple cbts. Develop your muscle and slowly lean bulk. Emphasis on slow. I'd aim to be 160-165 by next year or so. If you start gaining weight too fast hold off and maintain that weight a bit (1-2 weeks), or slightly cut then resume lean bulk.

You're in a good place to start lifting at, very lean, but no muscle. Gainz will come pretty quickly in the first 6 months if you do it right. GL senpai.

There was a 5 month period between the age of 17 and 18 in which I consumed about 4300kcal per day and worked out rigorously for about 2 hours per day, 5 days per week. This actually effected my studies quite drastically at the end of high school but I ended up gaining 20ish pounds in those 5 months. It gave me some irreparable stretch marks on my back and triceps too.

I'm currently in the middle of another clean bulk and hope to be a lean 200 by the end of the year

Thanks. I'm manglet at 176 cm and I actually don't have a scale so I'm not 100% but I think I'm around 71-72kg or so. I do a 5 day brosplit with just standard excercises and I go until failure mostly (which is around 8-12 reps on most things except shoulders where I do dropsets)
