What do.
pounds?
you need to do a beginner routine
im doing candytoes 6 week and i like it
>>40116056
you aren't intermediate my man
>>40116072
Already stopped making linear progress last fall. I'm cutting.
>>40116190
(1) stopped making linear progress
(2)60.4 on symmetric strength
I'm intermediate either way you slice it.
>>40116357
Also, I'm old.
>>40116375
5/3/1 might actually be good for an old grandpa like you, the volume is quite low
>>40116375
5/3/1 then, made for people like you
>>40116357
>>40116375
did you stop making linear progress on a cut?
because you were never, ever going to make linear progress on a cut, it's almost impossible to do so
5/3/1 is too low volume in its original iteration but the beyond 5/3/1 model has a lot more volume, try it out

Yes. But I made linear progress for a long time. My lifts at the end, after some deloads, trying 72 hours rest, went up a lot for about three months. Last three months have been on HLM.
Volume hasn't been the issue but going up weight has slowed on almost everything except bench which is fucking weird because when I was everything else on SS it stalled.
I need to get that last 5% of body fat off without losing too much muscle and then I'm going into recomp cycles. Should be there in 8-12 weeks.
Then I think I'll go to Texas Method with a surplus.
I guess I'll give 5/3/1 a try.

Or should I go back to a beginner routine once I stop cutting because my lifts are pussytier?
>>40117043
yes, go back to a beginner routine once you can bulk
you aren't going to gain much of anything in a deficit past the earliest stages of beginner, especially not on an aggressive LP program
