I'm stuck in a gym with no barbells or rack, just a smith machine, for the next four or so months. Doing SL5x5. I've got solutions for everything except the Pendlay Row. I tried it last week in the smith machine and felt like I was doing it completely wrong. Do I just need to get adjusted to it or should I just do something else? I'd really rather not fuck with the program any more than I already am.

Either do dumbbell rows or seated cable rows and you'll be fine. Sorry your thread when kinda off the rails.
Dumbbell rows are sweet. Your whole body works to stabilize. Makes my neck feel juicy.
