Do you guys know any good strategy for this?
My dad bought one and it can be the answer to my prayers because I'm a fat idiot who feels like a laughing stock when running in public. Problem is, I can only do like 5 minutes at 35km/hour before wanting to die.
I know running has C25K, is there an equivalent for stationary bikes, or maybe just a few general guidelines I should follow?
keep doing it every day
every day it gets a little easier
Watch tv while you do it. Do those 5 minutes every hour you're at home and awake.

i dunno if it applies but a good running one is sprint for 60 seconds and then light jog for 30 seconds for about 10 minutes or something. used to do it in the army i always thought it was a good workout. i might have it backwards i don't really remember.

Alternate between doing HITT and LISS on it while watching TV or listening to music.

Sup anon, fellow fatty here that's been lifting since last summer. Been integrating 20-30 mins of cardio after every lifting session, but I can't run because fucking asthma so I have to do stationary bikes. My gym's got something practically identical to what you put in your OP, and it's the shit. Recumbent bikes (the ones with the seat you can lean back on) are comfy as FUCK and an absolute godsend in regards to stationary cardio.
My pro tip: watch some fucking Bob Ross or some shit on your phone propped onto the dash of the bike. Don't even look at the timer, just focus on Bob's happy little accidents. They're 25-30 minute episodes each, typically, so they're perfect.
Start there, anon. You can do it. We're all gonna make it.

There are many C25k programs which you can use for this, slowly raising your cardio health and capacity until you can pound the FUCK out of this thing for several hours straight.
Of course, if you don't get your food under control, you will still be fat, but your heart will be better off.
Be gentle, but always aim a tiny bit higher.
Ride a real bike outside
