Who here genetic failure?
>nearly 5 years lifting
>struggle to squat 60kg for 8
>struggle to bench 80kg for 8
>20%+ bodyfat
>not even doing a brosplit
>literally doing a full body routine
I kinda want to die
are you eating food?
I'm also 5'7 and 80kg lol kill me.
Is it possible that I'm just not cut out for this shit?
In my first year I managed to get a 100kg bench and 120kg squat but for some reason my strength has just degraded over time instead of gone up.

Yes.
I'll post a pic when I get home at gym ATM

It's probable that you are making incremental changes to correct your form and misremembering how well you used to do those reps. I know I "lost" considerable progress to my bench and deadlift multiple times to correct form.
How can you have a bench higher than a squat? I've never heard of that for people who actually train both.

i don't remember what my form was like 5 years ago, but I know my strength felt so much better.
I don't seem to be able to progressive overload anymore. And I just find my strength decreasing slowly as I get further into lifting.
I'm cutting right now but I'm still 80kg and I'm only 5'7 so i need to cut down to 70kg or so before I even think about trying to bulk again:
Thinking after I cut that I should perhaps start from scratch again on SS or something, but with a more conservative approach to the retarded caloric intake. I don't want to get fat again like I am now

I'm 5'7", 80 kg (cutting down to 70 kg as well), been training for under 6 months, my squat is 80kg x 5 and my bench is 60kg x 5. If you are actually following a good program consistently, something might be seriously wrong. Have you seen a doctor? What routine are you doing?? Are you on heroin?
