Dear /fit/ my right wrist is kind of fucked, I had an injury that has left it somewhat weak. Would I be fine to do pushups and curls while wearing a wrist brace? Or am I going to run into some complications?

Last chance desperation bump
I would advise not to unless you don't mind risking further injury. Better to wait until it feels fully recovered.

Sadly it seems like it isn't ever going to be 100% again, a friend pushed a heavy punching bag at me. I wasn't paying much attention and punched into the bag moving towards me. My wrist was useless for months. I later fell with my full body weight on my right arm, while it was twisted behind my back. At this point, I can do some pushups, curls, do some plate lifts. But it ends up aching, I was wondering if wearing a brace might help make up for the weakness. Does /fit/ think I should just give it up? and figure out how to exercise that part of my body in a non-traditional way? It's getting close to a year since I injured myself
Any and all advice is appreciated, I've never been able to really go for the bench-press because I have epilepsy. So not being able to just manage doing pushups and curls would feel like a crushing defeat to me
