It's not specifically an STD, but you can get bacteria into your urethra during sex, so I just assumed the chances would be greater if they had it.
But I don't have any other of the symptoms of Gonn/Chlamydia, and I figured the burning wouldn't have gone away on it's own if I were to have either of those

Don't be an idiot. Get your round of antibiotics and take them. They're not that expensive and an untreated UTI can lead to a kidney infection which requires more expensive antibiotics and potential hospitalization.
