Okay, Cheat Meals/Days.
I was thinking it is just weakness where people give in and have a cheat meal or cheat day while on a cut, but now I'm thinking it might actually be a good idea since your body adjusts to a new low-caloric intake and eases up on burning calories like it used to.
Could cheat meals possibly boost your metabolism into not stubbornly hanging on to every little bit of energy you put in? Does it trick your body into thinking it doesn't need to save every little resource and it's fine to burn through calories/stored fat?
Is there any broscience to back this up?

Majority of what you eat should be plant based. 500+ cal for gains , 500- cal for weight loss.

Don't know about broscience, but I have a cheat meal once a while.... usually after I've gone zero simple carb for a couple days....
It usually involves a burger -n- buns from a place, or perhaps some corn taco shells...

Unless you're a complete shut in, let cheat meals be the unavoidable ones. Stuck somewhere, dinner with a pretty lady/boy/ladyboy, etc.
>Planning cheat meals
>go shopping for essentials while not hungry
>only buy what I need
>get an insane craving for a burger or hot sandwich
>nothing like that in the kitchen
can't eat it if you don't stock it
>food of dishonesty
I had 1/4th of a whole pecan pie this past sunday after just sticking to my typical calorie deficit diet.
Made bigger gains on my push and pull routines AND I broke my weight loss plateau. Maybe a bit of a pastry every once in a long while isn't a bad thing?
I just had a cheat weekend and I gained nearly 5lbs: 123.8lbs saturday morning, 128.4lbs monday morning. I planned on cutting all week anyway, so it's no big deal.
>Could cheat meals possibly
Cheat meals/days/etc are good for eating shit you used to eat before making it, that's it.
You could plan a cut to eat freely for a special occasion if that's what you wanna do.
If your intention is to bulk and lift, that's different shit.
