>Workout for 40 minutes, 3 times a week
>>"Don't do curls or cardio bro, that's overtraining"
Is /fit/ really this dumb?

Are you saying you cannot get results going three times a week for 40 minutes? Because you'd be wrong.

>"Don't do curls or cardio bro, that's overtraining"
Things never said on /fit/

This. There have been some really stupid comments made about both of these things, but none of them have been calling it overtraining.

Nobody said that. If you have enough energy at the end of your programmed workout (ss, SL, whatever) then you aren't doing it right. You should work either with more weight, more speed per rep, or both. If you have the energy, even after you have done all that, then do accessories and/or cardio. If your going to do accessories, don't just do curl, do skullcrushers, lateral raises, glute bridges, shrugs, etc for a rounded body. Do cardio on off days, but make sure you eat enough. But really you just want to add extra stuff because this is your first week lifting, and you are too lazy and afraid to lift big weights.

Not believing in cardio isn't a /fit/ thing.
Believing people on /fit/ don't believe in cardio is a /fit/ thing.
And yes, /fit/ really is dumb enough to think that /fit/ doesn't believe in cardio.
