yes you can. i'm on the tail end of a chest cold with a particularly sore throat and minor congestion and i exercised VERY well today.

if it's bad enough, then just play it safe and rest up.

good rule of thumb: if the sickness is above the neck, light workout is fine. otherwise, rest and fight it off
