Does /fit/ think drinking more than 2 cups of black coffee (nothing but coffee and water) a day is bad? I drink about 4 and about 3L of normal water a day.
More than 5 is associated with a higher risk of suicide. That's all I really know
are we talking actual coffee cups as pictured or those giant tumblers that hold 24 ounces?
Coffee cups are like how wine glasses got all big so wine drunks can still say they had 2 glasses.

I mean, it's probably totally fine, as long as you're not hurting your sleep because of it.

That size but in height not width.
so long as it's not affecting your mood, giving you mad shits, or keeping you up all night, nothing wrong with it. I'm sure this isn't an issue for you if you're on /fit/, but just make sure that you're eating right and drinking enough water to offset the acid content so your stomach doesn't hate you. source: I work at a coffee shop and drink at least a cup or two per day.
Caffeine is considered "bad" in relation to health because it temporarily elevates blood pressure which can lead to things like anxiety and even symptoms of depression in rare cases. It also has a half-life of 6+ hours, meaning if you're drinking it after 1200 or so you're damaging the benefits of sleep
If your blood pressure and sleep are otherwise fine then larger amounts of caffeine aren't going to take anything away from you
That said, there's not much benefit to caffeine other than marginal increased performance and focus when combined with something like theanine. Either way there's not much reason to drink more than a cup or two per day.
>3l of water
Why
Drinking coffee is passe. What you need is a coffee enema.

I don't do it as the meme for 'drink 3l of water a day' I just happen to drink about that much most days.

I know a guy who's 87 and swears by coffee enemas.
He's crazy active too. Hauls around furniture like nothing.
Mystery...

I have 3 a day ever since crohns started to cause me severe constipation, which can get fucking painful if left long enough. I have felt no negative consequences for years, its quite common to have back to back coffee.
