Agreed. Special Forces are put through high-stakes tasks and its members need to have a hardy mindset. This isn't just a workout; it's a form of insurance that a soldier who can complete it is a soldier that won't give up and go home when he and his team are 3 days into an important mission, even if he REALLY wants to.

That really depended on the dude. Wed talk shit to you if you were kipping right away I usually tried to get the first 40-50 dead hang and then after that if you want to finish at even a remotely decent time you kinda have to kip
