I'll keep this short. I've been working out on and off since I was 16. I wouldn't call myself /fit/ but I'm definately not in bad shape but recently something has been bothering me. When I used to work out I would get extremely sore. Like have trouble getting out of bed sore. Now it doesn't matter how I work out I never feel this way but it's obvious my body is still breaking down. Like for example after a leg day I was walking down some stairs and the momentum caused my legs to buckle. Or I feel like I can go for a jog and but as soon as I start running I will literally almost fall over. Any of you have this happen to you

Sounds like doms

>DOMS goes away after lifting for a while
wow, discovery of the century right here.

So this is normal? What I had earlier was DOMS. And my body just doesn't get sore anymore. Like I said I have been lifting since 16. And cross fitting for the last year. And all this soreness decides to end at the age of 28. Just seems off

If you don't work out consistently you'll definitely feel DOMS. Personally it went away completely after two weeks of lifting. When I worked out inconsistently it was almost there every single workout. Just keep at it.

It's one of two things, either

A different version of (you) in the multiverse was on a mission and forced to kill a version of (you). When the one died his life energy was split amongst the survivors. Since then he has been traveling the multiverse, killing (you)'s and this is why instead of getting slower and weaker the older you get, you both have been getting stronger.
If this is the case tho just make sure you have some way your gf can tell you and him apart, also it will help if you like Pappa Roach.
