Can someone explain how the hell this happens? I thought if you gradually lost it this wouldn't happen.
I'm 199lbs, down from 250 over the course of a year (28) and my skin isn't doing this. I mean it's not completely tight but it's not super loose.
How do you fix this?

shitty genetics mostly
also it depends on how much weight you lose. at some point you're going to have loose skin no matter how slowly you lose it
you said it yourself, over the course of a year, losing fat takes time, even if you lose it really fast your body still needs the time to adapt. Also nutrition, excercise, genetics and enviroment all might have something to do with it.
However, up to certain point of obesity your body will be forever stretched to those levels or worse.

also only way to fix it is surgery
Some gas stations have free air pumps, just use those every once in a while when you go to fill up. Eventually you should get new ones. Get a pressure gauge so you can keep tabs on them

this nigga lost almost 200lbs...
it is inevitable once you're past a certain point, no matter how slow you lose the weight.
It depends how you carry fat
If you have more "saggy" fat then you are going to have loose skin

There shouldn't be loose skin unless you're like 80+ lbs too much(and even then it should be minor, it's those whalemode 150+ lbs excess ones that turn into freaks), unless you have shit genes or something.
