Walmart and save-a-lot in central Florida. I don't actually shop at save a lot but I was there once and saw 20lb rice bags for $5. The rest of the prices were based on Walmart. I'd imagine if you're on a tight budget, you'd go to the cheapest places.

When people post ridiculous cheap protein its probably for some kind of bulk deal. If you buy one chicken breast its gonna cost a lot more per lbs than buying 15 chicken breasts.

If youre poor the bulk deals are great. My 180g protein 300g carbs per day costs me about $8.

I don't even have to ask you questions, I know what the problem is: You don't know how to shop, and you shop for groceries at only ONE store, and it's probably the expensive 'boutique' store, like Whole Foods or somesuch, where everything is expensive. You need to go to places like Winco or Foodmax or similar where the 'basics' are cheap and plentiful. I get boneless skinless chicken breast for $1.99 per pound at Winco any day I go in there. Your basic beans and rice and shit like that you get in the bulk section for cheap by the pound. Winco even has generic unflavored whey protein for cheap. Really, you need to up your shopping game.
