>Serious question.
I'll preface by saying I'm 6'2 155 pounds slim but a bit out of shape. I've never worked out more than what was needed back in HS (running) I eat pretty healthy.
>Is doing situps, pushups, and running some each day good enough to get in shape?

doesn't answer the question

"Get in shape" is vague as fuck. Will only doing those exercises improve your strength and cardiovascular health? Yes.

Is it the optimal way of doing it? Not even close.
>>
>>39955203
Well yes running will. Pushups and situps are not things people do anymore though really.

Of course exercising is better than not, but don't expect to get a sculpted body doing that. You will probably be "healthier" than most of /fit/ if you run regularly.

This description sounds familiar... You live in WV?

Anyway, running + body weight exercises will get you healthy, and ensure you live a long time. That said, lifting means that you'll be able to do things and be mobile when you're old and I'd recommend anybody lift.

What you're talking about doing is a good start to a lifting career, but you need not progress past these exercises to be generally healthy. Cardiovascular health ought to be pretty much anybody's number one concern and that's what your routine idea will tackle provided you actually challenge yourself.

no.
>>

I mean some people obviously do, but It's not really the preferred way to do it.
>>
As long as you arent a skelly or a fatty you are considered in shape. So yes those basic excercises should be enough

drink bleach, it's good for your intestines and a real easy way to get in shape.
